McKesson Partnership Inked

ARLINGTON, VA--Capitol Partners, a middle market focused private equity firm, has announced that its portfolio platform company CareSouth Health System has incorporated McKesson's Horizon Homecare software into its Augusta, GA-based data center to provide clients in its business services and homecare divisions with an integrated system for revenue cycle management, point of care, personnel scheduling, telephony, Internet-based physician access and utilization review and management technology.

Horizon Homecare 7.0 includes an array of homecare agency management tools to help CareSouth clients further optimize clinical and financial management by streamlining operating standards for billing, reporting and analysis.

According to T.J. Jubeir, managing partner of the private equity firm "This partnership further enhances our infrastructural capabilities, consistent with our strategy to create the premier homecare company in CareSouth." By leveraging its cost-effectiveness and deep clinical consulting knowledge, CareSouth aims to emerge as not only the premier, regionally-focused clinical homecare company but additionally the low-cost service provider.
