Capitol Partners Acquires Remaining MedCare Interest

WASHINGTON, DC--Capitol Partners, a middle market focused private equity firm has announced the acquisition, through its CarePartners@Home, Inc. platform company, of the remaining interest of Baylor Health Care System in the Texas homecare joint venture MedCare@Home. CarePartners@Home originally acquired its 90% interest in the joint venture in May 2000.

According to T.J. Jubeir, managing partner of the private equity firm, "The acquisition of the remaining interest allows us to better optimize these homecare assets as part of our greater multi-region network of Medicare nursing operations across about three dozen locations in the states of Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas and California."
