WASHINGTON, DC--Capitol Partners, one of the Mid-Atlantic region's premier private equity firms, has announced that portfolio platform company CareSouth Health System has been named onto the prestigious ‘HomeCare Elite.’ The list, published on October 16, 2006, is a compilation of the nation’s top performing home health agencies. The Greensboro, NC, Washington, GA and Garden Grove, CA divisions of CareSouth were named in this list.

In evaluating data made public by Home Health Compare and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Outcome Concept Systems, a benchmarking company out of Seattle, and Home Health Line listed the home health agencies in the country performing in the top 25% in the areas of quality of care, quality improvement and financial performance. Both freestanding and hospital-based agencies were evaluated, a total of 1,735 agencies.
