Michael Monaghan                                                                   Associate

Mr. Monaghan is an Associate with Capitol Partners. Previously, he served in the U.S. Navy as a submarine officer aboard the nuclear powered submarine, USS Los Angeles, where he worked in the Engineering and Weapons departments. While onboard, he supervised operation of the engineering plant as well as tactical operation of the boat in support of national security objectives. Following his time on USS Los Angeles, Mr. Monaghan worked for the Commanding Officer of a squadron of four warships as the submarine operations and assistant operations officer. His role was to develop a process for increasing awareness of terrorist operating patterns in the Persian Gulf. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics within the General Engineering Core Curriculum at the Naval Academy, and is completing his MBA at Georgetown University’s Robert McDonough School of Business.
